If you are currently running Check Point R81 Security Gateway and Management software, now is the time to update or you will no longer receive critical updates.
R81.10 is available, however support for this version ends in July 2025. Check Point recommend that all deployments use R81.20 to ensure that your solutions are optimised.

Policy change review has been streamlined using SmartWorkflow. Ensuring accuracy of Security Policies through customizable built-in policy supervision workflows.
Performance Acceleration for Quantum Security Gateways
Maestro Auto-Scaling – Dynamic performance scaling. Automatically shift firewall resources between Security Groups as throughput and compute requirements change.
Maestro Fastforward provides a 100G cut-through mode for trusted connections – the highest throughput and lowest latency for specific applications.
Quantum HyperFlow delivers 2.5x times higher throughput for very long, high-bandwidth intensive connections. Gateways will automatically allocate more CPU cores to process these connections upon detection.

Updates can be managed directly through your Check Point solution, but thorough planning and experience is required to ensure a smooth and successful upgrade takes place.
